Strengthening technological innovation in grain storage and implementing multiple measures to promote grain conservation and loss reduction

 

On November 23rd, attendees of the National Postpartum Grain Conservation and Loss Reduction Work Site Promotion Conference visited Binzhou Binliang Group for observation. As a typical enterprise in the solution of integrated grain storage systems, Shandong Changjiang Grain and Oil Storage Machinery Co., Ltd. was invited to introduce to the attendees the corresponding measures and technological innovations that the company has taken in recent years to achieve grain saving and loss reduction in grain storage.

Leaders including Liu Huanxin, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves, Zeng Zanrong, Standing Committee Member and Deputy Governor of Shandong Province, and Wang Weihua, Director of the State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves of Shandong Province, visited the Yangtze River booth and highly praised our company's achievements in grain conservation and loss reduction.

In recent years, Shandong Changjiang Grain and Oil Storage Machinery Co., Ltd. has actively responded to the national "six major improvement actions", committed to enhancing the national food security capacity, serving the national food security strategy, strengthening technological innovation in grain storage loss reduction, and ensuring national food security.

For grain storage in grain depots, our company's green low-temperature grain storage solution uses internal and external wall insulation, magnesite board ceiling in the warehouse, overhead roof insulation, and upgraded door and window sealing to keep the grain in a low-temperature state for a long time, inhibit the growth of mold and insects, and maintain grain quality. The shallow circular silo lifting and conveying system ensures that the operation of grain in and out of the silo adopts fully enclosed, fully continuous, and fully mechanized equipment, with fully automatic control, resulting in less grain dust overflow and low grain loss rate. Shallow circular warehouses have a small footprint and large grain storage capacity, which can save labor and costs.

For the storage of grain by farmers, our company has developed and produced a smart grain storage and drying warehouse that utilizes digital control and a scientific CNC centrifugal fan ventilation system to promote the penetration of dry air through the grain layer. The airflow accelerates the movement between grain grains to take away moisture, achieving the goal of reducing grain moisture content. The wheat harvest is immediately stored in the warehouse, while creating conditions for early sowing and increased yield of the next crop of corn, saving the cost of sun drying grain, and avoiding secondary pollution, breakage, and loss of grains. Compared with traditional drying towers, it has the advantages of smaller footprint, lower cost, no need for heating and drying, unchanged grain color and quality, reduced energy consumption, simple operation, and safety and reliability.

The standardization, refinement, greening, and intelligence level of China's grain storage management is steadily improving, moving from "safe grain storage, loss reduction and consumption reduction" to a high-quality development stage of "quality preservation, green and optimal storage". Our company will also continue to make efforts around grain conservation and loss reduction, making grain conservation and loss reduction another way of increasing production.
